Currently not making sense as they try to explain a new tool to us here at work. I'm using one of the laptops (a 17-inch which weighs a tonne) to surf the internet, and I'm hoping that in thirty minutes or so this will be done because I'm groggy, and embarrassing myself in the process. I'm not really good at these organizatgional tools, but I suppose this is going to be my new best friend, either that or treat the whole team to a round of beer at the end of the quarter. *whines bitterly*

I had acquired two used books - one is Hermann Hesse's Beneath the Wheel, and the other is Yasunari Kawabata's Master of Go(!). We went to an artistic fair and they had several interesting books, like The Gossamer Years and some by Kenzaburo Oe, Kant, and Kurt Vonnegut. My best friend got one of the Kurt Vonnegut's, the only reason why I didn't purchase more books would be the copy of MPD Psycho 3 waiting for me in a mall. I begun reading the Master of Go this evening, and tempting as it is, I'm trying not to write a similar tale with Ogata as Shusai. (Heresy. How can I match up?) One of the interesting bits I read on it is a mention of the similarity between Yukio Mishima and Kawabata, and their aristocratic tendencies and how they didn't join the democratic movement in Japan during their time. I guess, I'll have to read their works and compare.

Goban! Ordered a foldable one from the Korean baduk salon an hour away from my work~♥ I'll get it next week. Mrs. No the baduk salon owner was very nice and understanding, and she remembers you, kitsune_jade, if you were the one who came in three years ago with short hair to buy a goban. IF YOU HAD A GOBAN ALL THIS TIME WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME AND BRING IT TO MY HOUSE?!

Go stone bankai going pachi-pachi Working on Death games chapter 3 during that first free hour everyday at work. The text file size is at 20kb, which is about the halfway mark, and I believe I will go beyond the usual "3 scenes, then a cliffhanger" mode, to go to "4 scenes and a cliffhanger."

It will help if we had a decent name for Akira's zanpakutou soul.

Let's not talk about the interlude between chapter 3 and 4 for now, since Subaru-san does not want me to write him. D:

Currently watching: CSI: NY Season 2 (not season 1, because somehow I got CSI: Miami season 1, wtf.), Tantei Gakuen Q J-drama (*insert fangirlish squee not for Ryuu, nor Kyuu, but Ka~zu~ma~♥!), Akihabara@Deep, Mirage of Blaze OAV. On the television front I'm watching anything related to Egypt in National Geographic and Dexter. ^_^

I should try downloading Juuni Kokki except I'm looking at my disk space, and I only have 21gbs left. I guess I should chance it if only for the kirins~♥ (But really getting Juuni Kokki is related to bullet #2, hey!)

Currently playing Suikoden 2, Persona: Eternal Punishment, Melty Blood: React, FFVII.

I-I am not gonna make it to subrosa. *flails unhappily* Unlike how it was with blind_go fics, this one just hates me to the core of its very being. For one, the pacing is slow, to the point of being glacial, the language is trite, and the POV kills me. Actually, there's no other way to tell the story except in this pov. But. JUST. And here I am so CLOSE with 4400 words! The sad part about it is those 4400 words don't even tell the story as I want it, and I'm gonna die if I submit them in their unfinished form.

I'll be in the other room, depressed.
